VeToday Directory
Everyone has a right to join the VeToday directory. There are four basic membership levels. You do not need to be a member to visit and participate in VeToday. However, you do need to be a member to
be listed, receive newsletters, or post announcements. There is no fee to be a member. Sign up and searches of the directory will be launched 9/30/2001, or before.
Consultant Member
If you are a Value Engineering professional, you can sign up as a consultant member. You will be required to answer some questions that will affect how your listing is viewed and verifies that your
are indeed a consultant and can be listed as a consultant member. All people visiting VeToday will be able to search, view, query, or otherwise examine the consultant directory listings for a consultant
that would meet their needs. At your option, you obtain a newsletter of consultant issues, the general member newsletter, and/or client member newsletter. Only the consultant membership are able to
view the client member job request. You are also able to post events for your company. Sign-up begins on or before 9/30/2001.
General Member
If you are interested in VE or just want to be notified of events and join our newsletter, you can register as a general member. At your option, you obtain the general member newsletter and/or client
member newsletter. You can also post requests for services. Sign-up begins on or before 9/30/2001.
Client Member
If you are looking to obtain client type services you can register as a client member. You do not need to be a client member to search the consultant directory for specific qualifications. However,
you cannot obtain posting or other benefits without joining. As a client member, at your option, you also can obtain the client member newsletter. You can also post requests for services, query our database
for past results, qualifications, and other issues. Client member job posts generate consistency in your positive results as the posting query includes questions that improve your bid results and avoid
cost overruns. These are features which you may not be aware you need to request. Only the consultant membership are able to view the job request. That way, you are assured that a true professional
is examining your request, Sign-up begins on or before 9/30/2001.
Chapter Member
Chapter members are the secretary or other designated person placed in charge of listing a VE organization events roster. They obtain a user id and password that allows them to post events in the local
chapter section of VeToday. Chapter members receive announcements affecting their services. To receive other benefits, they must also be a member of one of the above groups. To become a chapter member,
